Install and update help

Install PageNerve without risking active work.

Use the versioned Windows x64 release, keep a verified project checkpoint, and treat installation and project migration as separate operations.

Before installation

Confirm four things first.

This guidance applies to the public PageNerve 3.0.0 Beta per-user installer.

02

Supported Windows

Use Windows 10 or Windows 11 on an x64 computer.

03

Trusted source and hash

Download only through the PageNerve account-first flow and compare the exact versioned filename and SHA-256.

04

Idle, checkpointed project

Finish active writes and create a verified checkpoint before changing the installed version.

Install or update

Keep the old project state recoverable.

GET

Download the exact release

Use PageNerve-3.0.0-Windows-x64-Setup.exe from Download.

HASH

Verify SHA-256

Run Get-FileHash .\PageNerve-3.0.0-Windows-x64-Setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256 in PowerShell. It must return 0A2B1A108609325DDAA4F40E7D602873917DEBF321491377D68F9E88802D1849.

RUN

Read the Windows warning

Authenticode status is NotSigned. Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may show Unknown publisher; continue only after the source and SHA-256 match.

CHECK

Review offered updates

PageNerve checks the signed PageNerve update feed and offers a verified update when one is available. It never installs silently during an audit.

SAFE

Approve only when idle

Finish active crawling and state writes, create a checkpoint, then approve installation. Stop and restore the checkpoint if compatibility or integrity checks fail.

Troubleshooting

Describe the release, not private project data.

When requesting help, include the PageNerve version, Windows version, update state, and a redacted error. Do not send crawl URLs, licence secrets, CMS passwords, Search Console credentials, or customer records.
